I just needed to take a second to acknowledge some downright rockin content by Jason Baer over at Convince and Convert. This slide show says it all, so I’ll leave this one short and let you enjoy it. I just want to point out a serious insight on slide #8…it’s OK if you’re not all perfect yet.
So many people want to have everything figured out before they start. Just start! There is huge value in just putting yourself out there. Believe me, you’ll learn what you need to do to get results!

Thanks very much for the kind words. I’m delighted that you found value in the presentation.
Jay…thanks for swinging out, man. Much appreciated
I did very much; your blog is pretty rockin and a regular read for me. I like your work a lot!
Awesome slide show!
Great point on being perfect. I wrote a blog post about that a few weeks ago. Don’t strive to perfection – strive to act on your blog! Your results will determine your next strategy to improve. If you’re just planning and not doing you’re not seeing any results.

Couldn’t agree more! Action is key. Without it you’re just planning forever. That’s no way to roll
Christian,
That is my problem. Waiting for perfection, as opposed to jumping right in.
I have a an active interest — commercial real estate investing — that would lend itself, quite naturally, to blogging. However, since I don’t consider myself an expert, yet, I question the right I would have to blog about such a vast and deep subject when others are much more qualified.
A shift in mindset is in order.
Great post, Christian and Jay has a fantastic site – it will be bookmarked.
Regards,
Anthony
Anthony, yes there is great value in just diving in! Give yourself credit for the work you’ve done and what you know. You don’t know everything, but of course you NEVER will know everything! Getting in touch with where you can really help people the best is part of what makes blogging so powerful. Writing a blog forces a certain amount of introspection and really helps you define what you’re doing, what your skills are and what niche you should target. Let me know how it goes!
